Dr Nishat Riaz MBE

Dr Nishat Riaz has over 20 years of experience of education leadership. She is one of the founding members of Karakoram International University, the first university in Gilgit Baltistan province, Pakistan. She also serves on governing and advisory boards of international organisations. Prior to her current role, she managed the British Council’s education work in Pakistan. She has a rich understanding of and proven experience in establishing mutually beneficial partnerships and advising education ecosystems, at both the policy and practice levels.
