Hon Erica Stanford

Erica Stanford is the Minister of Education and Minister of Immigration. She has been the Member of Parliament for East Coast Bays since 2017. She held shadow portfolios of Associate Environment and Conservation and was the spokesperson for Early Childhood Education, Immigration and Education. She completed a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours at the University of Auckland, majoring in Political Science (Public Policy) and minoring in Māori Studies. She also spent four years working in the electorate office of former Member of Parliament for East Coast Bays and Foreign Affairs Minister, Hon Murray McCully.
