Hon Ezekiel Machogu

Hon Ezekiel Machogu was appointed to his position in 2022. Prior to this, he was the Member of Parliament for Nyaribari Masaba Constituency from 2017 to 2022. He has served as the Chairperson of the National Assembly Committee on Members, Service and Facilities and as a Member of the Committee on Regional Integration and as Senior Deputy Secretary in the Ministries of Arid and Semi-Arid Lands, Trade and Tourism. He also served in the Public Service Commission between 2002 and 2016 and as Deputy Provincial Commissioner of the Coast Province from 2001 to 2002. He was District Commissioner for Wajir, Busia and Nyandarua Districts between 1989 and 2001 and District Officer of Tetu, Nyandarua, Oljororok, Kianyaga, Nandi, Naivasha, and Kikuyu Divisions from 1978 to 1989. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in Government and Sociology from the University of Nairobi.
