Natalia Miteva
Deputy-Minister of Education and Science in Bulgaria
Natalia Miteva is Deputy-Minister of Education and Science in Bulgaria responsible for large-scale educational investments, strategic initiatives and digital education. Prior to joining the Ministry, she managed strategic educational programs for Google and held leadership positions in the edtech sector, while serving as mentor and adviser to edtech startups. She has also served as Country Lead for the Finnish leader in educational innovation HundrEd and as a member of the National Commission on Innovation at the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science. Prior to that, she was Program Director for Education at the America for Bulgaria Foundation where she managed a sizeable portfolio of program investments related to education, entrepreneurships, teacher training, and school change. Natalia holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy (MPP), specialising in International Development, and is a graduate of the Oxford Impact Investing Programme.
